Q: Where is the cruise going?


We depart NYC (minutes from Times Square) and sail to New England and Canada.

Q: What is included in the price of my reservation?


The price of your cruise entitles you to all Broadway Cruise events, as well as stateroom accommodations, non carbonated drinks, all of The Broadway Cruise exclusive entertainment and the standard dining program.

The following are not included in your fare: port fees, gratuities (charged on board), airfare, transportation to/from airport and ship, alcoholic beverages and carbonated soft drinks, spa treatments, indoor pool relaxation areas, certain specialty exercise classes, laundry/dry cleaning, certain NCL specialty entertainment, babysitting, photographs, casino, shore excursions, ship-to-shore phone, e-mail, Internet, fax, medical services, and travel insurance. In addition to the standard dining program included in your reservation, specialty restaurants are available with nominal cover charges, fixed-price menus, or รก la carte pricing.

Q: What is the payment schedule and deposit required to make a reservation?

A $250 deposit per person is due at the time of booking your reservation. (Suites Deposits Vary). The amount of the deposit is based on stateroom selection, number of persons sailing per stateroom, taxes, fees, and gratuities. Payment in full can also be made at the time of booking. If a $250 per person deposit is made, the final balance is due no later than July 13, 2014.

Q: What payment methods are accepted?


You may purchase your cruise vacation using American Express, Visa, MasterCard, or Discover Card.

Q: What is the cancellation policy?


Cancellation fees for cruise reservations will be assessed depending on the date of cancellation, as noted in the Cancellation Fee Schedule below and will apply to all guests on the reservation. Cancellations must be made by email to gregg@thebroadwaycruise.com The amount of the cancellation fees assessed will depend on the date of cancellation, as stated in the Cancellation Fee Schedule. A change in reservation, but not a total cancellation, such as a stateroom category downgrade, may result in fees being assessed.

No refunds will be made in the event of interruption or cancellation by any passenger after commencement of the cruise. Reservations that are not paid in full by the final payment due date are subject to cancellation and in the event a reservation is canceled, a cancellation fee will apply.

No refunds will be given for cruise no-shows.

Once any payment is received, the reservation is subject to cancellation fees according to the schedule below.

Cancellation Fee Schedule:
No penalty up until 90 days prior to sailing
90-60 days prior to sailing: Deposit
75-56 days prior to sailing: Deposit
44-30 days prior to sailing: 50%
29-15 days prior to sailing: 75%
14 days or less: 100%

Please note all suites are subject to stricter penalties:
Great than 120 days no penalty
119-90 days: 25%
89-56 days: 50%
55 days or less: 100%

Q: What is the next step after I make my reservation online and pay in full?


Approximately 4-6 weeks before the sailing date, you will receive an e-mail containing your stateroom number and booking number for the cruise. The e-mail will contain directions on how to register with Norwegian Cruise Lines online in order to print your boarding documents for embarkation day, sign up for shore excursions, make specialty dining reservations, and register a credit card for onboard purchases. All guests are required to complete this online registration before the cruise. Adults will be responsible for registering the minors in their party. Every passenger must be registered with NCL before the sailing date.

Q: What documentation does each person need to board the Norwegian Star?


You may sail with either a valid passport, proof of citizenship and a valid government-issued photo I.D. (driver's license with a photo), or any other WHTI compliant document. Proof of Citizenship examples include: an original or state certified copy of a U.S. birth certificate, original certificate of U.S. naturalization, original certificate of U.S. citizenship, or a U.S. Consular report of your birth abroad. Baptismal paper and hospital certificates of birth are not acceptable. A U.S. citizen under the age of 16 do not require a government-issued photo ID.

If you don't have a passport, you must have an original birth certificate with a raised seal AND a government issued photo ID.

Non-US residents should check with their consulate for document requirements.

Q: Are there travel restrictions for pregnant women and/or infants?


Women entering the 24th week of pregnancy or later will not be permitted to sail. Infants under 6 months of age will not be permitted to sail.

Q: Is travel insurance available for this cruise?


NCL does offer a travel insurance program and can be added to your reservation at the time of booking. If you are interested in obtaining more information, such as pricing and inclusions, please contact the Broadway Cruise reservations line at gregg@thebroadwaycruise.com.

BROADWAY CRUISE EVENTS



Q: Can anyone participate in The Broadway Cruise events on this cruise?


The Broadway Cruise events are available only to parties who have booked the The Broadway Cruise directly with us. The Broadway Cruise guests are welcome to come and participate in as many of the Broadway Cruise events as they wish. On the first day of the cruise, each member of your party will be given identification to wear, which will serve as admission to each Broadway Cruise event.

Q: When will I know when and where each Broadway Cruise event takes place, and do I need to make reservations for each Broadway Cruise event?


Approximately 4-6 weeks before the sailing date, you will receive information on when and where each Broadway Cruise event will take place so that you can plan your days and other activities. You do not need to make reservations for each Broadway Cruise event.

Q:What kind of unique activities can I expect on the Broadway Cruise?


- Evening performances by Broadway performers
- Musical Director, the amah-zing Seth Rudetsky (Broadway Host on Sirius/XM radio and the ultimate Broadway fan)
- Cocktail hours with New York City piano bar stars
- Theater Camp for all ages taught by Broadway professionals concluding by performing in the final Seth's Broadway Belters show.
- Much, much more!

Q: Will the entire ship be involved on the Broadway Cruise?


We are excited to offer the ultimate cruise for Broadway fans sailing from NYC. We'll have exclusive entertainment options daily and we expect to have approximately 500 guests on board. We'll dine together, party together, beach together and share our love of Broadway.

Q: Do I need to pre-reserve dining?


NCL offers the most dining options of any other cruise line. The Norwegian Gem has many different dining options. With Freestyle Cruising, you can eat whenever you want and where you want. Many dining options are included in the cruise price but there are some specialty dining experiences that do have a surcharge. The Broadway Cruise will have blocked seats at some of the restaurants so you can always dine with fellow Broadway cruisers.
